Our reserve filter lot from Central Java: Kartika variety, grown on family plots at 1,400 MASL in Petarangan, Wonosobo, and bought direct from the growers. The lot is fermented twice instead of once, and that second pass is what builds the cup — heavy florals, sharp passionfruit, raisin sweetness underneath. This is a loud, fruit-forward coffee for people who drink filter for the fruit; anyone wanting a quiet, tidy cup should pass. Paper filter, unhurried drinking: the passionfruit shows up properly a few minutes after the pour.
