Uganda Bulambuli Honey Anaerobic
Bulambuli, Uganda, is about as far as we stray from home — one of a handful of coffees we import from outside the six regions we buy direct across Indonesia and Timor Leste. It's a honey anaerobic: the cherries ferment in sealed, oxygen-starved tanks, then dry with their mucilage still on the parchment, and both steps show in the cup as heady florals, tart star fruit, and a body closer to tea than syrup. Sold single-dose; save it for a black filter cup on a day the aromatics can have your full attention.
